(Overview)

A developer-oriented utility designed to verify LLM API credentials, execute test probe queries, and inspect raw HTTP responses for swift configuration debugging.

Created to eliminate the friction of writing throwaway curl scripts or test files every time a developer configures a new API key or investigates authentication errors.

Project Overview

When integrating LLM services into applications, engineers frequently encounter invalid key errors, organization quota exhaustion, or incorrect endpoint routing. Keylenz provides an immediate, safe browser sandbox to run a quick test request and inspect the response.

Testing Capabilities

Keylenz streamlines the verification process through a clean developer console.

KEY HIGHLIGHTS & SPECIFICATIONS
  • API key testing: Enter an API key to execute a lightweight test request against the selected provider.
  • Request execution: Sends a minimal test ping or model-list query to verify authentication and access permissions.
  • Response inspection: Displays HTTP status codes, latency timings, response headers, and raw JSON payloads.
  • Troubleshooting guidance: Identifies common HTTP errors (such as 401 Unauthorized or 429 Rate Limit) with helpful resolution hints.

Security & Credential Privacy

API keys are sensitive credentials. Keylenz was engineered with a strict zero-retention policy: keys are held only in client memory during the test request and are never stored in databases, server logs, or local storage.
